It encompasses nearly all the functionalities found in high-end instruments, yet comes at a significantly more affordable price.

Custom Features

Improved for ballooning

This instrument is designed for paragliding so has some GPS and on screen features that are not relevant to Hot Air Balloons.

A key missing feature on most budget friendly instruments is the ambient temperature sensor.

To fix that we have made a custom strap mount to fit a stand alone digital ambient temperature sensor.

We also supply the unit with an improved mounting bracket to ensure the instrument remains secure on your basket.

Certificate of Conformity

As with most budget paragliding instruments, the Flymaster GPS LS is not normally supplied with a certificate of conformity or a calibration certificate as required in Australia for hot air balloon use under AD/BAL/8 Amdt 4.

When purchased though Kavanagh Balloons your Flymaster will come with a certificate of conformity and component history card.

All of these custom features do push the price up slightly from the RRP you may find online but the extra details are needed to make the Flymaster GPS LS ready to fly.
